The American Airpower Heritage Museum of the Commemorative Air Force houses a significant collection of over 4,200 oral histories from World War II Veterans of aviation and the collection is growing daily. Wouldn't you like to have your story be a part of this historical collection?
We have an oral history kit which contains complete instructions about how you can record the World War II experiences of you or your fellow veterans. These recordings are then sent to the museum to be placed on file in our archives for future generations to use for research and historical purposes.
The American Airpower Heritage Museum is committed to preserving the memory of the men and women who built, serviced, and flew the historic military aircraft from World War II. With your help, we can preserve the World War II experience as told by those who lived it.
For an oral history kit or for more information, send us your name and address and one will be sent out to you right away.
